HOTONE AMPERO – Legendary Tones-1

3 legendary tones + 1 BONUS patch, 10 preset versions overall to suit almost every guitar type:

  • Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters (CLEAN AND LEAD)
  • THE POLICE – Every Breath You Take (Clean preset)
  • 80’s Clean Chorus Rack Tone (Landau, Huff, Lukather style..)
  • BONUS – PINK FLOYD – Another Brick in The Wall solo

All the tones you’re hearing on the video are not mixed or somehow spiced-up with 3rd-party effects or plugins. It’s all live playthrough, each preset is presented as is from the unit.

I’ve tested these on both Fender strat and a PRS with a coil split option. The ‘Wall’ however was only opted for a strat.

Just in case, I’m using Editor version 1.4.0.

NOTE that any preset that you are buying will not guarantee you’ll sound perfect straight “out of the box”. Many aspects are to be taken in consideration – the pickups, guitar type, playing style, your monitoring gear, your ears… Use these presets only as a foundation to build your own perfect tone. Experiment with the gain level. Adjust the EQ-ing to balance the tone at your preference. I usually make up to 3 versions for each preset. I don’t label them specifically, you can pick up the right one for you by simply trying each of them. They usually differ in gain and EQ settings (not global EQ!).

Sorry, no refunds! If somehow you are not satisfied with the sound on your equipment – don’t blame it on me. This presets are for HOTONE AMPERO, not for Ampero Stage or Ampero Stomp. And I have no idea if they are compatible to Ampero ONE. The latter might not have some of the FX’s or cab models that the Ampero has.
