This preset is way more than just your typical lead preset. I’ve hooked up the drive level to the expression pedal on the B mode. So, you can flip over to a clean tone with just this one preset – just stomp on the B pedal.

CRAFTING YOUR FINAL TONE

I played the “Jump Start” on my Hamer Centaura (hss), which is rich in highs. Played the main riff in the mid position, then swapped to the bridge humbucker to beef it up. I reckon it should sound pretty much the same on most Strats, tone-wise, and a bit less sharp on those fat humbucker guitars. Just tweak your EQ to get the tone dialed in for your own axe. I don’t engage the global eq, the input gain set to ZERO.

THE BRIGHTER PATCH VERSION

For this one I added some EQing and changed the cabinet. All the functionality and features stay the same.
